General Information about Exotic Car clubs

We have divided the car clubs into 3 categories: exotic car share clubs, fractional ownership and clubs with tracks. Below are some terms and general information about the different types of clubs.

Car Share Club – Membership enables members to use cars.

Fractional Ownership – Members own rights to usage and, in some cases, equity in cars as well.

Tracks-Private tracks and clubhouse for members.

Helpful Terms:

• Sign-Out Period – amount of time a member can use a car per usage, usually measured in days.
  
  

• Member-to-Car Ratio – the number of members per car.
  
  

• Reservation Rate – the percentage of time that a member can reserve their first-choice car.
  
  

• Pay-per-Use – members pay each time they use cars instead of using pre-paid points or days to use cars. Clubs usually have a minimum sign-out period .
  
  

• Points-per-Use – members use pre-paid points for each use.
